We are a classy point-of-service for your drinks, with a hardwood pop up bar and vintage caravan bar ready to serve in your venue of choice. The alcohol is byo and were mobile you have the flexibility of having your event where ever you want. You provide the alcohol and we take care of the rest.. Our packages include a minimum of two RSA qualified bar staff a styled bar area, glassware and the fridges and ice to keep them cold, with loads of complimentary extras, just ask our friendly team how we can help. Servicing Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Yamba.
The hummingbird and co team will arrive a minimum of 1 hour prior to your event start time with two experienced bar staff supplying all glassware for upto 100 people (Champagne, white wine, red wine and vintage tumblers…, cold drink storage, ice, everything required to serve the perfect drinks for your occasion.
A complimentary refreshment station is also set up with our 2 drink dispensers featuring seasonal infused H2O.
We also have a few base decorations, flowers, candles, vases, bar sign and trestle table that we are happy to use if it fits your styling but we also love a good matchy, matchy so let us know your style and we can customize from our hire range.
What drinks can we serve for you?….
Any bottled wine, beer, cider, champagne and spirits.
We also offer up to 2-3 cocktail options per event with cocktail packages, chosen by you approved prior to your event.
Or if you have something else you would liked served just let us know and we can ensure your requirements are met.
Do we serve COFFEE?
We include tea, coffee and hot chocolate for approximately 10%-20% of booking or we can upgrade to a tea coffee station just ask about our hot beverage package when you book.
Do we offer table service?
While we love serving straight from the hummingbird caravan and find it encourages your guest to move around and engage with each other at the bar, we also don’t mind a mosey + mingle session either. Table service requires additional troops, so if this is something you would like to know more about please contact us to chat as it involves a service surcharge.
Do you sell alcohol?
The hummingbird bar does not sell alcohol. We serve your guest the alcohol and drinks that you provide. We are more than happy to disscuss suppliers and beverage quantities for your event.
Where is hummingbird and co based?
The Hummingbird and Co Catering is located in the beautiful gold coast hinterland, and our mobile bar will service Brisbane, Gold Coast, Tweed Coast and Byron Bay.
Included in the cost is a 60 kilometer radius from coolangatta, additional travel inccurs a cost of $2.00 per kilometer. Good old Google maps is used as a reference to determine the distance between the base and event location.
Do you have Public Liability insurance?
Yes, we surely do!
Are our bar staff trained?
Absolutely! All our crew have their Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training. We also love a chit chat and you can be assured your guest will always receive amazing customer service.
Our Bar packages start at $985 with a minimum 3 hours and our full service wedding packages include lots of complimentary options.

Once you have a date in mind please contact us to secure your event date, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to your event date, with confirmation of bar menu and any additional selections, we’ll send a friendly reminder.
Does the Hummingbird require power?
Yes. We can plug into power via our heavy duty 30mt leads with built in circuit breakers or if your event is in no mans land we can run off a generator, this is an additional cost if required.
Do you have cancellation fees?
Once your date is confirmed and your deposit taken, we are committed to YOUR event… We do not consider any other bookings despite the requests we might get.
Please note all 25% deposits are non- refundable.
Other things to mention….
If your event is not at a private residence or venue, you are responsible for all the appropriate approvals and permits required and must provide confirmation of this to the hummingbird and co catering event coordinator.
All beverages must be chilled prior to our grand arrival. As we only arrive one hour prior to the event starting time, this does not allow adequate time for them to be icy cold.
